Surveillance Video of FBI Raid Against FTL Studio

It was about ten degrees Fahrenheit at around 6am on March 16th, 2021 when dozens of armed agents from the FBI, IRS, USPS, ATF, and Keene Police swarmed onto the duplex containing the Free Talk Live studio. They smashed in windows and a front door, set off explosions, flew in drones, and held multiple peaceful bitcoin activists at gunpoint. Simultaneous raids were being conducted in multiple other locations, with six people arrested in total. They were since dubbed “the Crypto Six” by supporters.

One had her charges dropped and three have taken plea deals despite never harming another human being. Two remain, facing hundreds of years in prison for completely victimless, made-up financial “crimes” regarding bitcoin.

Now, more than a year later, the FBI has returned the surveillance DVRs they took from the property. This is some of the footage taken at the scene of the Free Talk Live studio in Keene, NH:

Ian Freeman Returns to the Stage at Porcfest 2022 to Discuss the FBI

I had the pleasure of speaking from the main stage at Porcfest 2022, the biggest, sold-out Porcfest ever. My speech was about the history of Free Talk Live and the FBI’s obsession with the Free State Project, specifically agent Phil Christiana. Thank you to Dennis Pratt and the rest of the Porcfest crew for having me back!

Here’s the full speech and Q&A:

Thank you to Jim Babb for speaking out years ago and Rodger Paxton for laying the groundwork for having me back to Porcfest.

TALKERS’ Publisher on FTL’s Ian: “The greatest champion of free speech that we have.”

This year, I was tremendously honored to receive the talk radio industry’s most prestigious award, TALKERS Magazine’s Freedom of Speech Award. Sadly, due to the insane bail restrictions on me in the Crypto Six case, I was unable to attend TALKERS’ NYC convention to receive the award. Thankfully, Free Talk Live’s co-hosts Mark Edge and Captain Kickass were in attendance and Mark accepted the award while Captain recorded video.

Here’s the full presentation including the very kind introduction by TALKERS’ publisher, Michael Harrison, who called me, “the greatest champion of free speech that we have”. That’s probably too kind, but I sure do appreciate his sentiment. Mark then read aloud the short speech I wrote for the occasion, which you can read in full here.

Thank you to the audience for listening, TALKERS’ staff for choosing me for this awesome award, and Mark for receiving it on-stage. If you missed Michael Harrison’s interview of me, you can listen to it here.

“Central Bank Digital Currency – A Moral Hazard” – Panel Discussion ft. Ian of FTL

I was honored to be invited to speak on a panel about Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) regarding them being a moral hazard. Many government gangs are moving towards implementing a CBDC and that is very bad news for financial freedom. Here is the full 22 minute panel discussion. Thank you to Chris from Sustany Capital for hosting the conference.

Nobody’s Back On-the-Air!

Nobody in the LRN.FM studio.

The ridiculous and unconstitutional bail restrictions placed on Free Talk Live co-host Nobody after the Crypto Six arrests in 2021 have been loosened a little and now he is finally able to return to the airwaves!

After wrongfully refusing to grant him bail and holding him in a cage for six months, Nobody was released in September on bail conditions that prevented him from speaking publicly as well as a prohibition on speaking with a bunch of our friends, a prohibition on using cryptocurrency, drug testing, and other restrictions. Now, several months later, the prosecution has agreed to allow Nobody to return to the air on Free Talk Live and he’s allowed to speak with Aria and me.

Curiously, this is the very same prosecution who previously argued that were Nobody to be allowed on the radio that he would somehow foment a violent revolution, despite the fact that this has never happened and he has historically been opposed in any violent on-air rhetoric by peaceful co-hosts who advocate non-violent means. We have no explanation from the federal prosecutors as to why they’ve reversed course, but perhaps it has to do with the fact that it’s clearly a violation of Nobody’s rights to prohibit him from speaking prior to being convicted on any charges.

Regardless, as of Friday night, Nobody is back on-the-air on Free Talk Live! You’ll be hearing him often and if you missed Friday’s show, here is his triumphant return:
